Cosmology Workshop: Confronting theory with observations

2010-May-20, 18:13
Start date:
Mon, 16/08/2010 - Fri, 20/08/2010

This workshop is intended to expose theoretical cosmologists to some of the important observations being made of our universe.  The goal is to encourage theorists to think concretely about the questions being raised by these new discoveries and also to acquire a sense of the realistic constaints on theoretical ideas and models that will be possible from the coming generation of cosmological observations. The atmosphere will be lively and informal, with relatively few talks each day, to provide plenty of time for discussion and callaboration among the participants.

Registration is accessible here and will be possible until July 31, 2010.
